100-Day Information Technology Post-Merger Integration Plan
Covers all IT activities from pre-close to integration complete (at 100 days). The accompanying reports (Day 1 Checklist, Risk Register, Milestones, Next 14 Days, and Executive Dashboard) reflect progress as of T+30 (30 days after close).
This IT plan picks up where the Day 1 plan leaves off and extends it through the first 100 days. The focus shifts from operational readiness to consolidating infrastructure, migrating critical systems, and retiring duplicate applications identified during the rationalization effort.
As the technology environment begins to converge, the operating model evolves with it. A formal IT service management framework establishes consistent processes for incident response, service requests, and change management across the combined organization. At the same time, cybersecurity and compliance efforts continue, aligning security programs, expanding monitoring, and updating certifications.
As the integration progresses, expected synergies become validated savings. A 30-day integration review is built into the plan to assess progress, surface emerging risks, and course-correct before the final push.
At the Day 100 milestone, the IT organization is fully integrated with a consolidated infrastructure, rationalized applications, unified services, and a governance model for a single combined enterprise.
