M&A Day 1 Readiness Presentations
Every workstream must pass the Day 1 Readiness Gate. These presentations show whether HR, IT, Finance, Sales, Communications, Legal, and the IMO have completed the planning, testing, and preparation required to clear that gate and execute successfully on Day 1.
Each presentation follows a consistent structure so readiness can be judged the same way across workstreams. Each one covers the integration timeline, a pre-close readiness checklist, Day 1 and Week 1 actions, function-specific deep dives, and a candid register of top risks. And the last slide is a declaration of whether or not the workstream is Day 1 ready.
The final presentation is this section demonstrates how to conduct a Day 1 readiness rehearsal. This approach brings cross-functional teams together to test critical customer scenarios, identify process gaps, and resolve issues before they can become Day 1 disruptions.
