The presentation answers the question whether the IMO is ready for Day 1.
The following are summaries of several of the slides:
- Day 1 Readiness: Ten critical pre-close activities are completed before the readiness gate, including standing up the integration war room, validating communication plans, conducting execution dry runs, confirming manager readiness, and coordinating every workstream for launch.
- Day 1 & Week 1 Execution: The IMO activates the integration war room with a 7:00 a.m. cross-functional stand-up, monitors progress throughout Day 1, resolves issues in real time, and continues daily coordination and executive reporting throughout the first week.
- Governance & Coordination: The governance framework is fully operational before close, with the Steering Committee, workstream leaders, war room, reporting cadence, communication channels, and synergy management processes all active and ready to support execution.
- Cross-Workstream Oversight: Dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions are tracked through structured reporting and defined escalation paths, giving leadership real-time visibility into progress while keeping workstreams aligned and accountable.
- Key Risks & Mitigations (Part 1): The primary execution risks—including unresolved issues, missed governance meetings, and unmanaged dependencies—are monitored continuously and supported by defined escalation procedures and ownership.
- Key Risks & Mitigations (Part 2): Additional oversight focuses on resolving cross-functional conflicts quickly and ensuring every synergy initiative has a confirmed owner, an approved value target, and a clear execution plan.
The presentation concludes with formal confirmation that the Integration Management Office is fully prepared to lead Day 1 execution and provide the governance, coordination, and visibility required to keep every workstream aligned and the integration on track.
